Who We Are

A New Beginning Counseling Center was founded in 2009 by Alan and Jessica Neighbors, with one simple mission at its heart: to offer real, meaningful healing in a world that often settles for surface-level support. Built on the foundation of family, faith, and connection, this practice began as a small, private space where people could feel truly seen—not just as clients, but as whole human beings with stories that matter.

We are a family-owned and deeply family-oriented practice, and that spirit runs through everything we do. Whether you're walking through trauma, navigating relationship struggles, exploring your identity, or just trying to make life feel a little less heavy—we’re here to walk alongside you with compassion, truth, and the belief that healing happens in safe, honest connection.

What sets us apart isn’t just our training or specialties (though we’re proud of those too). It’s our commitment to showing up with realness. No masks. No performative professionalism. Just grounded, skilled care from people who truly want to walk with you through the hard and the beautiful parts of being human.

This center was created as a place where people can come home to themselves—and where faith, growth, and connection are not just words on a wall, but values we live by.

Licensed Therapists

Jessica Neighbors PsyD, LCSW

jessican@anbcceagle.com

Helping clients achieve immediate results is what sets me apart from other therapists. The most consistent complaint I hear is that people have spent months or even years in therapy without meaningful change. Every session that passes without clear progress or practical takeaways sends the message that nothing will help—and that couldn’t be further from the truth.

That’s why my approach is intentional, active, and results-focused. I believe therapy should offer more than just a safe place to talk—it should also equip you with tools, insight, and strategies you can apply right away. Helping clients find solutions quickly and feel real movement in their lives is not only possible, it’s essential. My goal is to help you feel more in control of your life, your health, and the challenges you're facing—starting from day one.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationship strain, parenting challenges, trauma, or just a deep sense of being stuck, we’ll work together to create momentum. I tailor every session to your unique goals, values, and pace—but I also won’t let you stay stuck in cycles that aren’t serving you. Therapy with me is collaborative, honest, and refreshingly practical. I’m here to help you connect dots, break patterns, and experience meaningful progress—not years down the road, but now.

I have extensive experience working with individuals, couples, families, and children across a wide range of issues. My objective is simple: success in treating the problems that matter most to you. If you're feeling discouraged, burned out by therapy, or just ready for something different, give me the opportunity to show you what’s possible. You deserve a therapist who not only listens—but helps you move forward.

Kassidy Neighbors, LCSW

kassidyn@anbcceagle.com

My mission is connection. Whether that means reconnecting with yourself, your family, your work, or the world around you—I want to walk alongside you as a guide, a coach, and sometimes, a cheerleader. I believe healing starts not just with insight, but with feeling safe enough to be honest about where you are and bold enough to imagine where you want to be.

I specialize in working with teens and adults who are feeling disconnected, discouraged, or like they’re walking around in a life that doesn’t quite feel like theirs. Maybe you’re struggling to understand who you are, or what you’re supposed to do with this whole “being a person” thing. Maybe you’re carrying stories, wounds, or beliefs that don’t belong to you. Maybe you’re just tired of trying to figure it all out alone. If that sounds familiar, you're in the right place.

Therapy with me blends a trauma-informed foundation with real, structured accountability—what some of my clients lovingly call my “annoyingly consistent support.” I’ll hold space for your big emotions, your stuck patterns, and your quiet hopes—but I’ll also challenge you to show up for yourself with courage and curiosity. This work isn’t always easy, but it’s powerful. We’ll move through the hard stuff together so you can finally access the good stuff: clarity, connection, and a deeper sense of peace within yourself.

You’re not broken. You’re becoming. And I’d be honored to walk with you through this part of your journey.

Taylor Wikert, LCSW

taylorw@anbcceagle.com

I specialize in working with teens and adults who are navigating a wide range of concerns—including trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, and body image struggles. These experiences can be deeply isolating, but you don’t have to face them alone. My goal is to help individuals heal from what’s behind them while building a future they genuinely feel excited about stepping into.

In our work together, my first priority is creating a space that feels safe, steady, and free of judgment—a space where you can bring your full self, even the parts that feel heavy, confused, or uncertain. I know how intimidating it can be to start therapy, especially when you’ve been carrying things on your own for a long time. My role is to walk alongside you with compassion and curiosity, gently exploring how your past is showing up in your present, and helping you discover new ways forward.

My approach is holistic and deeply human. I draw from cognitive-behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, psychodynamic theory, and holistic psychotherapy—always adapting to fit your unique story, strengths, and needs. I believe healing happens not just through insight, but through connection, presence, and the freedom to show up exactly as you are.

You don’t need to have it all figured out to begin. You just need to take that first step—and I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you move toward clarity, resilience, and a life that feels more like your own.

Taylor Colleran, LMSW

Finding a therapist you connect with is one of the most important parts of the therapy process. I consider it an honor to be invited into that journey, no matter how big or small my role may be. My goal is to provide a space where you feel supported, understood, and able to show up as you are, without judgment. I believe therapy works best when it feels honest, collaborative, and human. You do not have to have everything figured out before reaching out. Sometimes the starting point is simply knowing that something feels heavy, confusing, or difficult to carry alone.

Life is hard. Life is beautiful. Life is complicated. Most of the time, it does not look the way we expected it would. But it is still yours.

Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, uncertainty, forgiveness, grief, stress, or simply trying to figure out how to exist in the world, we can work together to move through it with honesty, connection, and support.

TMS and Admin

Kaden Neighbors: TMS Treater

kadenn@anbcceagle.com

As a TMS treater, my work is about more than just running a machine—it’s about creating a space where people feel seen, understood, and at ease during what can be a vulnerable chapter of their mental health journey. I'm passionate about building real connections with the individuals I work with, and I believe that even in the most clinical settings, human warmth and conversation can make a difference.

Whether someone comes in feeling anxious, shut down, or unsure if TMS is going to help, my goal is to meet them where they are. I don’t shy away from hard conversations—if someone wants to talk, I’m here for it. If they just need quiet and calm, I respect that too. Either way, I aim to offer consistency, presence, and a sense of comfort each time they come in.

I know that healing doesn’t just come from technology—it also comes from trust, small moments of connection, and feeling safe enough to show up as yourself. I do everything I can to make the treatment space feel relaxed, supportive, and human, while still honoring the science and structure behind TMS.

If you’re exploring TMS as part of your treatment path, I’m here to help make that experience as smooth, grounded, and supportive as possible.

Amy Johnson: Office Manager & TMS Coordinator

As the Office Manager and TMS Coordinator, my role is all about creating a space where people feel welcomed, supported, and genuinely cared for—whether they're stepping through our doors for the first time or coming in for their 20th session.

I know that starting therapy or beginning something like TMS can bring up a lot of emotions—nervousness, hope, uncertainty—and my goal is to meet each person with warmth and compassion from the very first interaction. From scheduling your first appointment to guiding you through the ins and outs of TMS treatment, I’m here to help make the process smooth, clear, and as stress-free as possible.

I take pride in making sure our space feels calm, comforting, and judgment-free. Whether we’re chatting at the front desk or I'm supporting you during a TMS session, I aim to be someone you can trust—someone who listens, shows up consistently, and makes you feel like you're not just a patient, but a person who matters.

Connection is at the heart of everything I do. You don’t have to have it all together when you come in—you just have to show up. I’ll take it from there.

Kayla Neighbors: Receptionist

kaylan@anbcceagle.com

As the first face you see when you walk through our doors (or the first voice you hear on the phone), my goal is simple: to make sure you feel welcomed, seen, and supported from the very beginning. I know that reaching out for help can be hard, and I consider it an honor to help make that first step feel a little less overwhelming.

I’m wired for loyalty, connection, and making sure everyone feels safe and cared for—whether that’s the clients walking through our doors or the clinicians I support behind the scenes. I thrive on being someone others can count on. I’m here to listen, to help you get what you need, and to hold space for whatever you might be bringing into the building that day.

I take a lot of pride in keeping things running smoothly—handling scheduling, answering questions, supporting our therapists, and making sure the space feels calm, consistent, and comfortable. But more than anything, I care about people. You’re not just another appointment on the calendar. You’re a human being—and I’ll always do my best to make sure you feel like one.

Whether you're walking in for your first appointment or you've been coming here for years, I’ll be here to greet you with warmth, respect, and a genuine desire to help however I can.

Interns

Kate Wilhite, Counseling Intern

katew@anbcceagle.com

As a counseling intern, I’m here to offer kindness, curiosity, and steady support to every person who walks through the door—no matter their age or background. While I welcome working with individuals of all ages, I have a special heart for children and the unique ways they express, process, and navigate their world.

I approach therapy with warmth, patience, and a deep belief that healing begins with feeling safe and truly seen. Whether it’s a child learning how to name big emotions, a teen working through identity and belonging, or an adult simply trying to feel more like themselves again, I show up with care and compassion—never judgment.

Because I’m still in training, I bring fresh energy and a deep willingness to learn, listen, and grow alongside my clients. I work under close supervision, which means you get not only my full attention, but the added insight of an experienced clinical team supporting your journey as well.

I believe that therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating or clinical—it can feel like a soft place to land, a space to be yourself, and a brave step toward something better. I’m honored to walk with clients through both the messy and the meaningful moments, and to create a space where they feel safe to be exactly who they are.
